The rising UK pop artist’s first headlining show in the city was short but sweet.

PinkPantheress kicked off the spring North American leg of her tour earlier this week in support of her breakout debut album, Heaven Knows. The emerging popstar made a stop in Montreal on Thursday evening to a sold out crowd, cementing her status as one of pop’s most exciting new talents.

Atlanta rapper Bktherula served as the opener for the run, energizing the crowd with a setlist comprised of high-octane, experimental, rage-influenced hip-hop tracks. The Beanfield Theatre began to fill as the audience trickled in while PinkPantheress’ four-piece band slowly took to the stage, building anticipation.
