The acclaimed rapper performed a series of songs off his new record with a live band and a special guest.
Vince Staples made is well awaited return earlier this month with the release of his self-titled, third LP, which has zero skipability. The Long Beach rapper recorded a laid-back intimate set at a Hollywood Hills location alongside musicians Kenny Beats on bass, Gio “Dutchboi” Ligeon on guitar and backing vocals, Reske on keys and backing vocals and drummer David Meyers Jr. There’s an alluring ambience with chill set up and the carefully picked out four-track set list. Staples was also joined by R&B singer Fousheé for a rendition of fan favourite “TAKE ME HOME.”
