This marks the Montreal-based artist releases his first track in French and announces his sophomore album, Pantomine on September 24th via Lisbon Lux Records.
This alluring new track is accompanied with an interesting, cinematic visual that can be described as a Donnie Dark meets Home Alone. “Réputation” plays as a nostalgic soundtrack and is a result from a collaborating with Paupière’s Pierre-Luc Bégin. By fusing nostalgic disco and indie glam rock, the pair came up with this joyous and anthemic number.
The Ariana Molly-directed visual is set in a suburban mansion and fits the cinematic aesthetic of the 1970s. A peaceful and quiet weekend consisting of solitude takes a menacing turn. The protagonists undergoes a journey in which he must reckon with his inner saboteur.
