Listen to Tkay Maidza’s Rendition of Where is My Mind

The Australian artist unveiled her cover of The Pixies’ classic, produced by Dan Farber who is featured on both volumes of her “Last Year Was Weird.”

Tkay Maidza’s cover of “Where is my Mind” is featured on label 4AD’s first instalment of their “Bills & Aches & Blues” EP, celebrating the label’s 41st anniversary. This EP series consists of the label’s current 18 artists covering a track of their choosing from the previous roster. The first installment also features U.S. Girls, Aldous Harding, The Breeders and Maria Somerville.

The full compilation will be available on all platforms on April 2nd. All of the profits of “Bills & Aches & Blues” from the first 12 months will be donated to Harmony Project, a Los-Angeles based after school program that helps children gain access to studying arts and music.
