Sudan Archives stopped by NPR’s Tiny Desk studio in Washington D.C. during her North-American tour this winter to perform a few tracks off her latest record, Athena.

By: Sun Noor

Given the current circumstances with COVID-19, Sudan Archives’ Tiny Desk Concert was the last performance taped at NPR’s studio before they began their at home series. The violinist was joined by cellist Khari Joyner and violinists Jessica McJunkins and Dominic Johnson. Together, the ensemble performed an alluring, stripped back live rendition of “Confessions,” “Glorious,” and “Nont for Sale.”
