IDLES Share Their Newest Single, Grounds

The band released a lyric video for their latest track.

IDLES returned with their second single,”Grounds,” off of their third LP Ultra Mono, which is due in the fall. This track is one of the bands most experimental efforts as the band take their guitar-driven soul and add some distorted effects, creating a more amplified sound overall.

The production and the structure in terms of the tracks instrumentation also includes elements of hip hop, creating quite the interesting sound. It appears that the band is continuing with their trajectory of exploring different sounds with Ultra Mono.
