The English experimental pop duo Let’s Eat Grandma are embarking on a headlining North-American tour later on this week, in support of their latest number that was released earlier this Summer called , I’m All Ears. The pair are due to kick of their tour in Vancouver’s Fortune Sound Club on Thursday and make their way to Washington DC, culminating this leg of the tour at the U Street Music Hall before heading back to the UK.

I’m All Ears is overall a quite enjoyable record as a whole, given that it is heavily produced and shows a mature development of their very atmospheric sound. The first track of the album is a synth-heavy, haunting and layered instrumental called “Whitewater.” That number is then followed by my favourite track of the record, “Hot Pink” which is a catchy and trip-hop influenced. “It’s not Just Me” is another catchy melodic pop song and “Falling into Me” is also quite synth heavy. Interestingly, the record has been produced by Welsh musician David Wrench, who also worked on numerous records such as David Bryne’s most recent release, Utopia, as well as The xx critically acclaimed I See You. Sophie and Farris Badwan of the The Horrors are also featured as producers for “Hot Pink” and “It’s Not Just Me.”
The pair will be joined by indie-alternative rock artists Odetta Hatman and Boniface who have equally released new music recently, for this leg of the tour.
