This years Record Store Day (RSD) will take place on Saturday April 21st. What exactly is RSD you question? It consists of a day where most artists treat their fans to exclusive records with never-before heard music from b-sides and remixes to rarities such as demos, new or original pressings and limited edition records on coloured/splattered vinyl. Evidently, it’s the music lover’s most cherished. The whole purpose of the event is to support independent record stores, as these releases cannot be sold anywhere else for the most part. However, one thing to keep in mind is that those goodies will sell out quickly and will most likely not be available proceeding the event.
