The Montreal-based producer and musician is due to release her debut record “What we Lost” on June 25th via Hot Tramp Records.
Janette King joined forces with producer Jordan Esau on this upbeat, powerful, and enticing track, which plays as a preview of what to expect on her debut. “Airplane,” comes into terms with experiencing heartbreak and loss by tackling the issue through an uplifting lens.
What we Lost explores the difficulties and complexities embedded with loss. The songs attempt to uncover the frightening intersection where pain and sorrow can help create new heights for art while unpacking drastic life changes such as loss.
