Annie Taylor teamed up with Das Playground for a fun VHS/karaoke-style music video for “The Fool,” which is final track on their debut record Sweet Mortality released last year. Vocalist Gini Jungi mentions, “The Fool is definitely the most meaningful song of the record. I wrote it with a big heartache, and I remember the first five times I played it one the guitar, I even had to cry a bit. It’s about longing for somebody’s love and just getting a glimpse out of it and running circles, until you find yourself as “the fool.”

The band recorded the dreamy number, “Unspoken” at Dala Studios, where they also recorded their debut record Sweet Mortality at the beginning of this year with producer David Langhard. The track emerged from a similar sentiment of accepting and letting go. Jungi mentions “David is such a genius, when it comes to understanding the way we want our music to sound. I showed him our self made demo version of the song “Unspoken” and explained with weird sound imitations, what we want the guitars to sound like. After 10 minutes into recording the songs, he brought a little fuzzy elephant into the recording cabin and told me to strum the strings with the elephant as a plectrum. The fuzzy plectrum changed the sound of the guitar a lot and the outcome are dreamy, soft guitar vibes.
