The French disco-pop five piece returned with another their fourth single which will appear on this record alongside the previously released “Fou/Exit”, “Voodoo” and “Anomalie bleue.”
“Peur des Filles,” which translates as scared of girls, can be described as a satirical and witty ode to femininity. L’ Impératrice paired up with director Aube Perrie who has previously collaborated with artists such as Angèle and Bon Entendeur for an interesting visual with references to 60’s horror movies, Mars Attacks and Warren G.

Their record Tako Tsubo, is the official name for broken-heart syndrome which occurs when the heart is deformed, given an intense emotion. The title alludes to a flaw in the system as all 13 tracks were composed during these odd times. Tako Tsubo was produced by L’Impératrice and Renaud Letang, who has collaborated with artists such as Feist and mixed by Neal Pogue who has worked with Tyler The Creator, Outkast and Janelle Monae
Tako Tsubo is out on March 26th via Microqlima Records.
