Universal Mother takes place at Sala Rossa on July 26th

To commemorate the one year anniversary of Sinead O’Connor, Pop Montreal has announced a celebratory event featuring local musicians who will cover music from the late singer’s iconic catalogue. Proceeds from the event will support La Maison Bleue, an organization directly supporting young mothers and families in need.

The lineup features performances by Lapelúda, Bijuriya (musician and beloved drag queen), Alanna Stuart of Bonjay, Mat Holubowski, Thus Owls’ Erika Angell, Giselle Webber from Orkestar Kriminal and Katie Moore backed by musicians Patty McGee, Marc-André Landry and Joe Yarmusch.
