Taken from their upcoming album, Heights of Our Pastureland, set for release on November 8th.
“Eager Glacier” is a turbulent, eerie, and transportive cut from Montreal noise-rock trio Yoo Doo Right’s upcoming project, From the Heights of Our Pastureland. The track spans over nine minutes, with explosive drums building up to a roaring soundscape, characterized by fuzzy guitars. While the expansive single explores elements of post-rock and drone metal, it manages to transcend genres. A constant within the band’s catalogue and upcoming full length record.
From the Heights of Our Pastureland is a dark, experimental rock-driven record that showcases the trio’s commitment to reaching new sonic heights. When describing the LP the band mentions:
“We aimed for something cinematic, but not in the way of a score, rather something more experiential. We wanted to create music that could ignite drive in oneself, hopefully something of significance in and of itself.“
From the Heights of Our Pastureland arrives on November 8th, 2024 via Mothland.
