The LA rock band’s anthemic new single encapsulates the struggle of letting go.
Starcrawler has returned with “Learn to Say Goodbye,” their first new release of 2024. The gripping number was recorded at Foo Fighter’s legendary studio, 606, and touches the aching feeling of freeing oneself from negative energy.
Front woman Arrow de Wilde states:
“I feel like everyone struggles with letting things go sometimes, even if they know that what they’re holding onto might end up hurting them. “We wanted to encapsulate that in this song, those desperate feelings you have when you want something so bad that you don’t care what anyone else has to say about it.”
The beach-side “Learn to Say Goodbye” was directed by Gilbert Trejo and captures the band’s raw and explosive live performances performances.
Starcrawler are currently on a North American tour supporting Japanese metal legends Boris, culminating in November. Check out the full list of dates here.
