An exciting new music festival is coming to town.
The inaugural edition of Palomosa festival is set to take place at Parc Jean-Drapeau on September 5th to 7th with headliners Kali Uchis and Gesaffelstein.
Multicolore, the production company behind Piknic Électronik and Igloofest, two of Montreal’s beloved outdoor festivals, has put together a well-curated lineup celebrating the end of summer. Boasting a wide range of acts, Palomosa aims to celebrate musical diversity while showcasing some of Montreal’s most eclectic artists.
The music festival is set to take place on September 6 and 7 at Parc Jean-Drapeau, which will be transformed into a vibrant venue for the occasion. Palomosa’s 2024 lineup is mostly comprised of pop, rock, R&B, Latin, and EDM acts such as Yves Tumor, Jai Paul (who will make is debut performance in Canada), Yaeji, Yung Lean, Pelada, Destroy Lonely, Underscores, horsegiirL, and many more. Shygirl will also be presenting her Club Shy project live with a special set.
Pop superstar Kali Uchis is set to make her first live appearance since the release of her fourth studio album, Qrquidéas. French producer Gesaffelstein will also return to the city for the first time in a decade to showcase his latest record, GAMMA.

Prior to the weekend festivities, the event will kick off on the 5th of September with a block party in collaboration with Piknic Électronik. The party will take place from 5-10pm featuring High Klassified and Vibe Benders with DJs KidCrayola and YKTV.
Each night will also be preceded by a series of afterparties not to miss. The Société des arts technologiques (SAT) will host two events right after the festival. Friday’s menu includes a special show featuring Toronto’s Pep Rally collective with DJs Chippy Nonstop, X CLUB, Karim Olen Ash, and Syana. At the same time, NYC’s Surf Gang will host a special DJ set with Isabella Lovestory along with Evilgiane, eera, and nico.minajj.

On the menu for Saturday at Espace SAT is an Indie Sleaze event with DJ sets from The Dare, Frost Children, Nation, and Taylor Skye of Jockstrap. Montreal’s Discoño collective will put on a special show at the Dôme of the SAT with MJ NEBREDA, Cheba Iman, mCherry, and AyyyBrino.
