The rapper unveiled the ultra vivid visual accompaniment for his latest single, “Best Life.” The video presents elements of Brown’s upbringing in Detroit in the style of vintage home movie clips juxtaposed with his current state, which is a recurring theme throughout the record.
The video follows the narrative of this self-reflective single in which Brown attempts to look forwards, leaving poor choices made in the past behind to focus on having a more clearer and positive outlook on life, in order to live his best life. There is plenty of symbolic elements presented throughout the clip especially the shift between dim and brighter lighting and even the heavy use of flowers, which show the contrasting effect between both situations.

Brown is currently making his way through the first leg of his North American tour in support of uknowhatimsayin¿ He is due to make a few Canadian stops in Toronto and at Montreal’s Corona theatre next Tuesday before culminating things for the year with a hometown show in Detroit at the Majestic Theatre.
